你属什么？看看属相的相关表达

“老鼠前面走，跟着老黄牛，老虎一声吼，兔子抖三抖，龙在天上游，蛇在地上扭， 马儿跑得快，山羊吃青草，猴子翻跟头，金鸡喊啼鸣，黄狗守大门，小猪睡大觉。”你们听过这首童谣吗？不难发现，这里面一共有12种动物，对应的恰好是我们中国的12生肖。我们每个人都有自己的属相，也常常会被别人问起： “你属什么的？”所以，关于属相的相关表达，快快学起来吧。

生肖/ 属相 —— Chinese zodiac  

zodiac可以指西方的“星座”，前面加上Chinese，就可以指中国的生肖了。

(1). Dragon is the only animal in the Chinese zodiac that doesn’t exist in the natural world. 在十二生肖中，龙是唯一现实世界中不存在的动物。

(2) The Chinese zodiac features twelve animals. 

十二生肖代表了12种动物。

(3). What's your Chinese zodiac sign? 

你属什么的？

(4). I'm a Pig in the Chinese zodiac. 

 我属猪。

关于“我属……”还有几种表达：

—— I was born in/ under the Year of the Snake. 

我属蛇（小龙）。

—— My zodiac animal is Rooster. 

我属鸡。 

本命年 —— animal year/ year of fate

今年是我的本命年有以下几种表达： 

(1). This year is my year of fate. 

(2). This year is my animal year. 

(3). This year is my birth year.

(4). This year is my big year.

……年 —— the Year of the + 属相

(1). 2018 is the Year of the Dog. 

2018年是狗年。

(2). Next year is the Year of the Pig.

明年是猪年。

十二生肖的每种动物在英文里都有一个对应的单词，老师给大家列出来，以后就不会弄错啦。尤其是属“鸡”的，可不是“小鸡chicken,chick”之类的，而是“公鸡rooster“。
